FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
RA Squash and RA Racquetball Clubs Welcome a new Pro and new Programs

(September 11, 2014 – Ottawa, ON) The RA Squash Club (based out of the RA Centre at 2451 Riverside Drive) has recently added a new professional squash coach to the family. The new pro, Dave Moorish, has started his tenure with the RA Squash Club by offering a wide range of free clinics and special events for those interested in the game of squash beginning Monday, September 8 to Saturday, September 27.

“This is a great way to check out a new sport!” says David.  With David being new to the Club, he has put together a great line-up of programs from the novice to the competitive players his way of getting to know the RA’s Squash community.  Ladies night, Junior Novice Play, Open Challenge, and on court clinics... there is something for everyone.

David, an English, Level IV Elite Squash Coach comes to the RA with years of experience. “I have spent much of my life around squash both playing and coaching,” commented Morrish, “The opportunity to work with the great people at the RA, to help grow the game by attracting junior players, and building on the talent and skills of the adult members was perfect.”

Jane Proudfoot, Director Sport, Recreation and Fitness shared these thoughts on the arrival of David to the RA family, “Squash and Racquetball are wonderful games that members use to experience great competition and to live a healthy and active lifestyle. David will only enhance the sport experience through his knowledge and excitement to get people active.”

David is working to get to know the Squash and Racquetball Clubs and community. If you, family members or friends are interested in being a part of an active club and part of the social squash and racquetball community, then plan to visit the open house clinics and talk to David about how you get involved.
