Amazing Summers Start Here!

The RA is a great place for kids! During the summer, our facilities are alive with hundreds of children enjoying our various summer camp programs each week. Some participate in specialized sports camps led by top professionals in their field, others enjoy the fun of our very popular theme camps under the direction of our professional and talented senior staff!

You’ll notice the difference the moment you arrive - a special atmosphere of fun and caring sparked by an enthusiastic team. RA Summer Camps are more than just a place - it’s a feeling. We are dedicated to fostering fun and skill development through physical activity, educational programming and creative endeavors in a safe, inclusive and positive environment.  We have a treasure trove of custom tailored activities, both classic and innovative, allowing campers to experience summer the way it should be: exciting, relaxing, eye-opening and a source of great childhood memories.  We strive for excellence and take pride in being a leader in program safety, camp staff selection and instructor quality.

Special Needs & Extra Support
The RA is strongly committed to the inclusion of campers with special needs. Please make us aware of any requirements for medical or other conditions at the time of registration, so that we can help arrange for any additional supports or resources that your child may require in camp to the best of our abilities.

Camp Swim Times
Camp swims are incorporated into many of our program plans and we ensure appropriate staff-to-camper ratios.  Campers aged 4-5 years must wear a personal flotation device (provided by us).  Campers who are 6 years and older will be allowed in the shallow part of the pool, and those who pass a swim test will be permitted in the deep end.
It’s important to note that not all camp groups will be swimming each day and you will be informed of your child’s swim schedule prior to the beginning of the camp session.

Camp Activity Locations
The day always starts and finishes at the RA Centre or the Rideau Tennis Club with all camp activities taking place right on-site.
