Lee McCormack is the President of Marble Crescent Inc. a consulting firm that serves Canadian and international public sector managers in the fields of governance and management practice; performance measurement and reporting; and strategic planning.
From 2007 to 2011 he was the Director/Vice-President of Research with CCAF-FCVI Inc – a research and educational foundation focused on governance, performance audit and management practices in the public sector. CCAF serves its government and private sector members across Canada and abroad.
Prior to joining CCAF, Lee McCormack spent over 32 years in the Public Service of Canada holding a number of executive positions lastly at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat. He has worked in many departments and central agencies and has broad experience in program and policy development.
Lee has been an RA member for many years and is the principal author of public management documents related to results for Canadians (Treasury Board); innovation, risk management and control (CCAF); and performance budgeting (OECD).
He has been active on Boards, task forces and initiatives dedicated to improved public sector governance and accountability, both nationally and abroad.
Mr. McCormack holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of New Brunswick and a Master of Public Administration from Queen’s University in Kingston. He is also a graduate of the National Defence College of Canada. Lee is married to Heather McCormack (a principal in Marble Crescent) and they have two grown children.
