Ted Cohen is Manager of Corporate Services at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He joined the College in January 2003.
Corporate Services includes Travel, Facilities, Accommodation, Reception, Security, Emergency Planning, Parking, Telecommunications, Health and Safety, Insurance and areas of risk management. Ted also manages the operations of the Royal College Foundation.
Prior to joining the Royal College, Ted held a number of role including Canadian manager of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program for the Japanese to a broad number of organizations and fundraiser leading that raised endowments for educational and health related Ted obtained his MBA from University of Ottawa and his MPA from Carleton University’ Ted also holds Certified Facility Management and Project Management Professional designations.
As a volunteer, Ted recently held the Presidency of the Canadian Society of Association Executives Ottawa Gatineau Chapter and Chair of the Rideau Tennis Club Tennis Advisory Committee. Over the years Ted has volunteered and served on boards of a number of national and international arts, social service, professional and recreational organizations.
In his free time Ted enjoys playing tennis, golf and travelling.
